Cubacel in April 2026: unlimited data around the clock — plus an extra bonus on the promo weekend
ETECSA is running two Cubacel promotions for international top-ups in April 2026. All month long, recipients in Cuba get unlimited 24/7 data for 10 days — and from April 6 to 8, there's an additional 25 GB plus unlimited night-time data for 35 days.
What does the monthly promotion include? (April 1–30)
With every international top-up between 500 CUP and 1 250 CUP, the recipient gets:
- The topped-up amount as main balance (valid for 330 days)
- Unlimited 24/7 data — all day, all networks, valid for 10 days
Example: A top-up of 1 000 CUP gives the recipient 1 000 CUP main balance — plus 10 days of unlimited internet at any time of day.
What does the weekend promotion include? (April 6–8)
Those who top up with at least 600 CUP (up to 1 250 CUP) between April 6 and 8 will receive, in addition to the monthly promotion:
- 25 GB — valid on all networks (domestic and international), for 35 days
- Unlimited data from 12:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. (Cuba time), also for 35 days
- Existing data plans and international data bonuses are accumulated and extended by 35 days
Example: A top-up of 1 000 CUP on April 7 gives: 1 000 CUP main balance, 10 days of unlimited 24/7 data (monthly promotion) and 25 GB plus unlimited night-time data for 35 days (weekend promotion). Both bonuses apply at the same time.
Promotion period and conditions
Monthly promotion: From April 1, 2026 (12:00 a.m.) to April 30, 2026 (11:59 p.m.), Cuba time. Minimum amount: 500 CUP. The unlimited data is activated the moment the top-up is received and expires after 10 days at 11:59 p.m. (Cuba time).
Weekend promotion: From April 6, 2026 (12:00 a.m.) to April 8, 2026 (11:59 p.m.), Cuba time. Minimum amount: 600 CUP. The 25 GB and night-time data are activated immediately and are valid for 35 days.
In both promotions, multiple top-ups are allowed as long as the main balance does not exceed 500 000 CUP. Bonuses accumulate with each additional top-up.
What about existing plans?
Monthly promotion: Existing national data plans, international combos, extra data packages and toDus plans are not extended. SMS and minutes packages are not extended either.
Weekend promotion (April 6–8): Existing data plans (national and international) and international data bonuses are accumulated and extended by 35 days. SMS and minutes packages are not extended.
Data usage priority
ETECSA applies the same deduction order for both promotions:
- Unlimited data (bonus)
- Daily plan
- toDus plan
- Data bonus (domestic)
- Data bonus (international)
- Balance bonus (at current rates)
- International combo
- National data plans (including extra data packages)
- Pay-as-you-go rate (at current rates)
The billing system switches between tiers seamlessly without service interruptions.
