Cubacel Promotion May 2026: Unlimited Data 24 h with Every Top-Up to Cuba
From May 1 to May 31, 2026, ETECSA is running a new Cubacel promotion: anyone who sends a top-up between 750 CUP and 1,250 CUP via Fonmoney gives the recipient in Cuba unlimited data around the clock — valid for 20 days.
What does the May promotion offer?
With every top-up between 750 CUP and 1,250 CUP, the recipient receives:
- The topped-up amount as main balance — valid for 330 days
- Unlimited data 24 h — national and international, all networks, valid for 20 days
Example: A top-up of 1,000 CUP results in 1,000 CUP main balance — plus 20 days of unlimited internet at any time of day.
Promotion period and conditions
The unlimited data is activated immediately upon receipt of the top-up and expires after 20 days at 11:59 PM Cuba time.
If the recipient receives multiple top-ups during the promotion period, the main balance is added up each time, and the 20-day countdown for the unlimited data restarts with the most recent top-up.
What about existing plans?
Active data plans, international combos, extra data packages (CUP or USD), Plan Todus, SMS or minute bundles: none of these are extended by the promotional top-up. The main balance and data bonus are added on top, but existing plans keep their original expiry date.
Data consumption priority
ETECSA deducts data in the following order (the connection is not interrupted during the switch):
- Bono Datos Ilimitados (promotional bonus)
- Plan Diario
- Plan Todus
- Bono de Datos (national)
- Bono de Datos (international)
- Bono de Saldo (per applicable rate)
- Combo Internacional
- National data plans (incl. extra data packages)
- Pay-as-you-go rate (per applicable rate)
