Send Cash to Cuba in CUP: How Delivery Works

With Fonmoney Cuba, you can now send cash to Cuba in CUP or in US dollars. We deliver it to your family and friends on site, and delivery takes 2–5 business days.

New: cash in CUP and in US dollars

Until now, cash delivery was only available in US dollars. Now you can choose between CUP (Cuban pesos) and USD. Delivery time, delivery area and fees are the same for both currencies. You only decide which currency your loved ones receive.

Which currency makes sense?

That depends on what your loved ones need the money for. If they pay in pesos in everyday life, CUP lets them shop directly without having to exchange anything themselves. US dollars make sense if they need them for certain purchases or services, or if they would rather keep the money in dollars. It is best to ask them briefly before you order.

How cash delivery works

1. Create an account with Fonmoney Cuba or log in.
2. Select “Send cash to Cuba” and choose the currency: CUP or USD.
3. Enter the amount, the recipient details and the delivery address.
4. Pay online. You can see the available payment methods during checkout.
5. Delivery takes place within 2–5 business days. You receive email updates along the way.
