ETECSA has announced a new offer for Cuba: from 21 to 26 September 2026, every international Cubacel top-up of between 600 and 1,250 CUP received through Fonmoney is multiplied by five and credited to the recipient's main balance. On top of that comes unlimited night internet for 30 days.

What does the promotion offer?

• Qualifying top-up: between 600 and 1,250 CUP
• The amount topped up is multiplied by five and credited straight to the main balance
• Unlimited internet every day from 12:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. (Cuba time)
• The night internet bonus lasts 30 days from activation
• The main balance stays valid for 330 days from the most recent top-up, plus 180 extra grace days

Promotion period and conditions

• The night internet bonus is activated the moment the qualifying top-up arrives and lasts 30 days.
• It can only be used between 12:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. (Cuba time), for both domestic and international sites.
• The amount topped up enters the main balance multiplied by five and stays valid for 330 days from the most recent international top-up, plus 180 grace days.
• Multiple top-ups are allowed: every qualifying amount counts five times over, and the 30 days of night internet start again from the last top-up.
• Main balance cap: 500,000 CUP.
• The promotion applies only through official international distributors such as Fonmoney — not via Transfermóvil or local USD offices in Cuba.

What happens to existing plans?

One important point about this promotion: active plans are not extended. Anyone holding national data plans, international bundles, extra data plans (in CUP or USD) or toDus plans at the time of the top-up keeps the original expiry date. The same applies to balance bonuses, plans and bundles that include SMS or minutes. The only things added are the five-times balance and the night internet.

Available data is deducted automatically in this order, so the connection is never interrupted:

2. Daily plan
3. toDus plan
4. National data bonus
5. International data bonus
6. Balance bonus (current rate)
7. International bundle
8. National data plans (incl. extra data plans)
9. Pay-as-you-go from the main balance
